This charming medieval town in western Switzerland is full of surprises. Nestled beneath the Pre-Alps, it offers a perfect mix of history, creativity, and Swiss culinary heritage—making it an ideal cultural adventure when the mountains are hidden in clouds.

Important information:

This tour is available only if the weather forecast predicts extremely unfavorable conditions for your originally booked outdoor adventure, or as a private tour.
Minimum group size: 5 people.
Gruyères is located approximately 1.5 hours from Interlaken. The transfer includes a scenic drive across the stunning mountain pass Jaunpass, passing through picturesque Swiss villages.
All entrance fees, tastings, and transportation are fully included in the tour price.

Pick-up in Interlaken
We’ll meet in the morning and start our journey to Gruyères in a comfortable vehicle.
Flexible Day of Discovery
We’ll visit amazing places — Gruyères Castle, the HR Giger Museum, a cheese dairy, and a chocolate factory.
No fixed schedule. Along the way, we’ll decide together what to do first, where to stay longer, and what matters most to you.
Local Tastes & Cozy Breaks
We’ll stop for lunch or coffee depending on the mood and weather — warm, indoor spots with great local food.
Drive Back to Interlaken
After a day full of experiences, we’ll bring you back to Interlaken — relaxed, inspired, and maybe a little sweeter.

A good mood (even if the skies are grey)
Curiosity and a sense of adventure
A camera or phone for memories
Appetite for local cheese, chocolate, and stories
Comfortable clothes and shoes for walking indoors & around town

Optional:

This tour is designed especially for rainy or cloudy days — when mountain trails are muddy and the peaks are hidden, but your curiosity is still alive.

For now, it’s available during the summer season (June to November).
