FAQ: Standard Outdoor Tours
What’s included in a standard tour?
High-quality e-bike & helmet, experienced guide, transport from/to Interlaken, and a carefully planned route. Some tours also include cheese tastings or entrance fees.
How fit do I need to be?
Tours are designed for all fitness levels, making it easy for anyone to enjoy an outdoor adventure. E-bikes make climbing easy, but basic cycling skills are required.
Can I join if I have no experience with e-bikes?
Yes! We provide a short training session at the start. If you can ride a normal bike, you’ll be fine!
What should I bring?
Our outdoor tours take place at altitudes around 2,000 meters, where the weather can change rapidly. Check the weather forecast before your trip and dress in layers to stay comfortable. Sturdy shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a water bottle are essential. If you plan to swim in the lakes, bring a swimsuit & towel. A backpack for personal items and snacks is also recommended. Most importantly, bring your sense of adventure!
Is lunch included?
No, but we provide restaurant recommendations or picnic spots where you can eat. Everyone can decide for themselves what to eat during the trip.
Is travel insurance required?
While not mandatory, we strongly recommend having travel and activity insurance to cover unexpected situations such as trip cancellations, medical expenses, or equipment damage. Your safety is our priority, and having insurance ensures peace of mind during your adventure.
Can I rent an e-bike without joining a tour?
Yes! We provide a short training session at the start. If you can ride a normal bike, you’ll be fine
No, we provide e-bikes only as part of guided tours.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Our outdoor experiences run in most weather conditions, but in case of extreme conditions, we will reschedule, offer an alternative activity, or provide a full refund. Please ensure that we have your correct contact details so we can inform you of any changes or cancellations due to severe weather.
Can children join this tour?
No, Swiss law requires e-bike riders to be at least 16 years old. However, if you’re looking for a family-friendly adventure, check out our private tours, where we can provide options such as child seats, bike trailers, or tow ropes to accommodate younger riders.
What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation request must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled start of the trip. For more detailed information, please read our Terms and Conditions.
